History of Nutri Symposium
The Symposium on Nutri Indonesia was initiated by Dr. Iqbal Mustafa, SpAn, and Prof. Xavier Leverve, MD, PhD. It was first held in 2003 in Jakarta by the Nutri Indonesia Foundation (Yayasan Nutri Indonesia, YNI), with Dr. Iqbal Mustafa serving as the chairman. Since 2011, the Symposium on Nutri Indonesia has been organized by the Indonesian Nutrition Association (Perhimpunan Nutrisi Indonesia), which is a reorganization of YNI. The symposium is intended to be held annually, but there have been instances where it could not be conducted, and it has also been held outside of Jakarta on several occasions.
Our Goals
The purpose of the Symposium on Nutri Indonesia remains the same as when it was first organized: to serve as a platform for sharing and exchanging knowledge about nutrition. With the participation of international experts and speakers, the discussions are broader and more up-to-date. Additionally, the symposium provides an opportunity for nutrition experts and enthusiasts to present scientific works, including research or case reports.
